We have installed an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) at the Aishinkan Kyoto Gosho-Minami Dojo, a consideration we’ve had for some time.
After comparing various vendors, we chose Omron’s AED due to the detailed service provided by their distributor, who conducts monthly regular inspections. This AED is excellent as it not only provides instructions for chest compressions during CPR but also assesses whether to administer an electric shock based on the analysis of the electrocardiogram.
It is housed in a handmade AED BOX crafted by the skillful hands of Vice Dojo Director Osada, and it is placed on the shelf above the safe deposit box for easy access.
