Aishinkan Kyoto, located right next to the Kyoto Imperial Palace, is a dedicated Aikido dojo in the heart of Kyoto. With a convenient 3-minute walk from Marutamachi subway station, our dojo welcomes members not only from Kyoto but also from other cities.
We offer a variety of class schedules, making it easy for even those with busy lives to continue their training at a time that suits them. Our classes cater to people of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, with multiple classes available (20 hours a week).
Our dojo leader is committed to ensuring a training environment that suits our members. Furthermore, we are continuously working to enhance the training experience at Aishinkan Kyoto in the future.
If you have any interest in Aikido, we invite you to attend a free Aikido trial class at Aishinkan Kyoto (up to two free trials). You are also welcome to visit us for observation at any time, free of charge.”

Aishinkan Kyoto Gosho-Minami Dojo offers a high number of training sessions, allowing for daily practice except on Tuesdays. This makes it an enriching dojo for those who wish to engage in extensive training. We provide various classes and offer exclusive opportunities for our members, such as ukemi strengthening exercises and a sword and staff study group.
■Kids Class: For 1st to 6th graders, and general members, including middle school students to adults, with the option for parent-child participation.
■Normal Class: Training is organized into groups based on skill level and individual needs, accommodating beginners to advanced practitioners.
■Basic Class: This class is tailored for beginners, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for foundational practice.
■Advanced Class: Geared towards individuals aiming for a first-degree black belt (shodan) or higher. Participants at 3rd kyu (brown belt) level and above are encouraged.
Both Basic and Normal classes are open to participants ranging from beginners to advanced practitioners, and trial participation is welcome.
Trial participation is not available for the Intermediate Class. Experienced practitioners with black belt ranks are eligible to participate.
Middle school students and above can join the general classes.
Training sessions are available in one-hour increments, and the fee remains the same, regardless of the number of hours.

■一般クラス・・・初心者から有段者までレベルとニーズによりグループ分けを行い稽古を行います。
■のんびりクラス・・・のんびりと初心者向けの基礎稽古をします。
■中級クラス・・・初段以上を目指す人のクラスです。3級以上が参加目安です。
※のんびり・一般クラスは初心者から有段者まで参加できます。体験参加可能です。
※中級クラスは基本、見学のみで体験参加はできません。有段者の経験者は体験していただけます。
※中学生以上は一般部への稽古に参加できます。
※稽古は1時間単位での参加可能です。1時間でも2時間でも回数料金は同じです。
